I have a alpine 7892. I didnt want to go out and buy a wiring harnest to put in my 1995 ford f150.I cut all the old wires and ran in to some problem. could someone tell me what wires to connect to what? I would really apricate it thanks.

Have a look at www.installdr.com to find your vehicle. If your vehicle had two plugs, one grey and the other black and they looked similar in shape, then the wiring on the site should be correct. If the harnesses were totally different then you may have an amplified system and just opened up a possible can of worms. In some cases a $10.00 harness is worth it's weight in gold, a lesson to be learned here is to next time recommend a harness to someone when they ask you what to do, and then tell them why.
