Well this is my new plan and I wanna know what you guys think about this. I am planning on getting 2- Kicker Solo-Baric 7 10" subs, and running each one to there own seperate JBL BP600.1 amp at 2 ohms, which will give them exactly what they want 600RMS. They will also be installed in 1.0 cubic foot sealed boxes. I'm just curious to hear what you guys think and if you have any suggestions

buy one 1200 watt amp like JBL BP1200.1 so that you dont have to worry about level matching and you want have to buy a distrubution block and extra RCAs. You should also look at Rockford Fosgate's Power 1001bd amp which outputs 1000 watts at 2 ohms. I like these amps better then JBL's stuff. One more thing to look at is JL's 1000/1 amp if you have plenty of money to spend. This is an excellent amp and its really flexible because it outputs the same amount of power from 1.5 to 4 ohm. If you have 4 ohm sub then you will need to get the Rockford Fosgate Power 1051S instead because it ouputs 1050 watts in 4 ohms instead of 2 ohms like the Power 1001bd. Here are two diagrams on how to wire your subs.

If you were to get te JBL 1200.1 and you have dual 4 ohm voice coils, wire your subs for a 1 ohm load (which the amp is stable at) so you can still get 600 watts to each sub. If you

He only needs 1200 watts though so he shouldnt need to wire the subs to get a 1 ohm load. 2 ohm is fine.

if he has the 4 0hm DVC subs, he can't wire them for an overall load of 2 ohms. the jbl puts out the same amount of power at 1 ohm and 2 ohms, both 1200 watts rms.

You guys are both correct, but to make one of you incorrect, sorry guys, I don't like pointing fingers at all, we need to know which L7 subs he is buying, as in what impedance voice coils they will have.

Hi, well I will buying the Dual 4-ohm L7's. Also they will be boxed seperaatly so I am wondering why would level matching be important as long as i take my time and set the levels equal each amp should be fine powering 1 L7 a piece wired paralell as to get 600 watts RMS
