I've had this problem with a boom noise every time i turn my radio on or off. How can I get rid of this pop? I tried turning down the gain on the sub amplifier, but it didn't really help. Thanks for any info.

Relocate to a better ground and isolate your RCA's from any power sources ( power wire, speaker wire, remote wire ). You may also have to relocate your constant and ignition wires from your deck to the battery or the fuse block.

Jeff,

I have the same problem.  Would delaying the turn on of the amp keep the noise out or to a minimum?   If so how do you add a delay to the amp turn on relay?

Thanks

Delaying may solve the problem if it's  power related on the power wires but if it's a RCA issue, then you have to re-route the wires. Most likely if's the power wire though.  Here is a great article about this phenomenom :

Jeff,

Thanks for the info.  I'm going to try delaying the turn on, on my signal processor.
