Wire (3) dual 2 ohms woofers in parallel at 1 ohm each then wire all three at 3 ohms in series????

https://www.jlaudio.com/tutorials/wiring/index.html#3dvcsp,........... this should help you out,.......... looks like you can eithergo w/ 1.33 ohms or .33 ohms,............... but I don't know everything,.... prob. never will,............ this is the site I use to answer all my wiring questions about subs,.................

yea, sounds good greg. but.. what kinda amp r u donna run at 3 ohms?

haha. yea man, if ur just lookin to mess around with numbers like that, use the "parallel and series calculator" over in the tool bar <<<<<. It's fun

Personally I would wire these subs each in series first to make each driver a 4 ohm load, then would parallel them all together to create a 1.33 ohm mono load, so yes it can be done. This is probaly the least confusing way to wire these subs.

I have a JL Audio 1000/1 and I don't want to go under 1.5 ohms so I was try to find a way to wire (3) dual 2 ohms subs and get max power out of amp

isn't that amp auto ranging for the ohm load? if so, just parallel all three woofs down to the amp.

use and old orion, that is .5 stable.     they will take .25 ohm burps
