installiing 2 amps help plz

Could it be possible to install 2 amps?

1 amp for my 2 subs and the other for my 6x9's?

yes it is just get you a power distrobution block that splits your main wire into 2 seperate wires ground your 2 amps to the same position and does your head unit have 1 or two sets of rca's if you have 2 then run one set to one amp and the other set to the other amp///let us know what radio and what amps you are hooking up..(model numbers)..good luck

i am hooking it up to a JVC Head Unit so far i only have one rca coming out of it to my 1000 watt sony amp 2 channel

i have 2  ten inch sony xplodsubs

and the other amp is a 400 watt DHD 2 channel amp

the 6x9's are volfenhag 800 watts max peak

Does one amp have a second set of rca jacks labelled pass through or output?

couldnt he use the high pass inputs on the amp? (just wondering) He didnt specify if he was tryin to get more bass or "loudness" from the 6x9s.

yes he could if he does not have two sets of rcas.first check to see if you have the pass through rcas on the amp
