The space is so small behind the bench seat of an 1989 Chevy C1500 Silverado, but I was thinking about putting in a box instead of replacing the 4x6's behind the seat on the wall. Has anyone dealt with this?

Also has anyone done any other type of installs to this truck. Right now I just have the receiver and about to replace the two 4x6's in the dash.

Small space behind the seat of a full size 89 chev pu? Even with the seat all the way back there is ample room for a good sized box with two 10" sub, maybe even some 12" subs.

how can you call that space small? have you ever looked at the mini trucks? many people put 3 or 4 subs behind the seats of the mini's. any truck box will fit behind your bench or if you can build one it can be wider than a truck box.
