I want to hook up my own Amp in My 2003 Yukon to the Bose speakers.  The speakers are a combination of 2 & 4 Ohms.  I need to know where I can splice in to the exsisting speaker wire and run that to my Amp.  I tried cutting the speaker wire before it went in to the Bose Amp but got no sound.  What can I do.  HELP

You need to find a wire that lies between the factory amp and a speaker, your safest bet is to go right to a speaker if you have limited knowledge and tools at your disposal. Ohm rating will not matter here. Find yourself the speaker wires that lead to one of the larger speakers in the vehicle, splice into the wires there. Do not wire into the smaller speakers as they generally have a high pass crossover and do not allow the range of frequencies to pass through that you will require, that is if you are wiring in a sub.

I found all the speaker wires running underneath the console and then run in to the factory amp.  I cut in there thinking that is what ran to the speaker and I guess I was wrong.  I guess they run in and out in the same route through the console.  I only want my Front/Back/Rear speaker to play on my amp.

Just a note that adding a higher powered aftermarket amp will make those speakers sound worse(those speakers arnt that much better then the ones that come standard with the truck). Your speakers are going to distort easily if you add an external amp of any kind. I would reccomend upgrading your speakers in the very near future if you havn't thought about it already.
