What is the lowest ohmage that a dual voice coil, 4-ohm type, hold?? I have a pair of Kicker L7 12", and a Alpine V12 MRV-T757, in bridged mode it's output is a 2-ohm load. If I wire the subs in paralell, with that damage them, or series, or will it damamge the amp? Thanks

Well you wire your subs according to your amp not vice versa.

You've either confused us or yourself. Your amp is 2 ohm stereo stable and only 4 ohm mono stable. If your subs are dual 4 ohm, your possible wiring configurations are as follows.

2 ohm stereo - OK for amp

8 ohm stereo - OK for amp but a loss of power

1 ohm mono - Bad idea for amp (very bad)

4 ohm mono - OK for amp, same as running in 2 ohm stereo

16 ohm mono - OK for amp but a massive waste of power

there are many ways to achive your 4 or 2 ohm load. i would recomend staying with a 4 ohm load if possible when ever i can, you will always get a cleaner signal but alpine is a very quality product so in your case a 2 ohm load should run clean with that amp
