I just bought a new radio for my jeep.....I didnt relize till I had it almost installed that it has no rca cable spots on the back of it like my old one did. So I stripped my rca cables down and had them hookedup to my rear speaker wires(as i have no other speakers besides my sub and 6x9 which are all powered by my amp). All I got was really really loud and when I turned the volume down to 0 on the dial it cut out totally and wouldnt come back on untill I disconnected my remote wire to the amps......So i decided to see if it did the same with my front speaker wires and it dd.....Is there any way to do this the rite way with my rca bables? Is there a way to put rca jacks in a stereo becous it has the holes in the back of it but has nothing in the holes....Hope someone can help me on this one.. thanx in advance guys.

yes replace your rcas and use a pac sni 35 high to low level converter. that will allow you to grab signal from a speaker output wire from your radio.

You are looking for an adptor commonly referred to as a LOC - Line Out Convertor. It changes a signal from a speaker lead to an rca. It is hooked up to the speaker leads where it "samples" the signal and converts it. It does not alter the signal going to the speakers. Some amplifiers have this device built into the amp, it is called a high level input. Does your amp have a high level input? If it does you will not need to buy a LOC.
