I'm looking for a high sound quality set of coaxial speakers for the rear of my car. Any suggestions? I have a 03 Mustang Mach 1.

Alpine, infinity, mb quart, diamond, jl     all depends on what you want to spend if under $200-$250 stay away from the diamond and mb quart, as the price will make you cry. JL and apline have a very nice comp quality component spekers set up for under $250

The question "what's the best speaker" cannot really be answered.  Audio perception is SUCH a subjective area that what sounds good to me might sound like crap to you.  Also every speaker sounds different in every different installation.  What works great in a Honda Civic may be a terrible choice in a Chevy Suburban.  You have to listen to the speakers and decide what you like.

That being said, the brand names already mentioned are good places to start, as they are known good quality speakers that will help you to get what you pay for.  Some other fine brands to consider are Nakamichi, Focal, Blaupunkt, JBL, Memphis...
