I was wondering if I have a seperate amp from the head unit.. I am bout to install a new head unit and was wondering if I can use the OEM wiring to speakers from behind the head unit

99 expedition

Its a premiere sound system and have had 2 diffrent opinion whetther or not the amp is in the head OEM head unit???

any diagrams or pics what they look like

Pull ot the factory head unit and describe what the hanesses look like, if the are simliar in size and shape you should be good to go, if they are totally different, you will have an amplified system and must do either an amp bypass or buy the proper harness. Have a look at www.install.dr to see if your harness is shown on their site.
