I have a 99 Grand Am that I had to pull the battery cable...and the radio locked! What is the procedure to unlock it? I know that there is a 800 number involved...does anyone know?

I had the same thing happen to my '98 Bonneville. I took it to the dealer, he looked at my VIN number, made a phone call, typed in a code, and away I went...no charge!! Mine had a code set by a previous owner and he didn't write it down. They are pretty protective of that information since the main reason for having it is to find stolen radios.
