Hello all,
Looking for a little advice. My beloved high current crossfire has gone to that special place that they all go. Our garage's. Oh-yeah, one day I am gonna fix that amp, along with the hundred others I have stored somewhere amongst the cob webs. Anyway, what do ya'll think is an acceptable replacement. Honestly the fosgate subs were a little much for it. Just couldn't quite drive them as hard as I would have liked. Suggestions on an amp first. Second, depending on the amp, wirring? I guess they do go hand in hand when making a decision. This should be fun. Allright, throw them out there
Try a new Crossfire, they are still a great amp, one of the older 1 ohm class D mono designs on the market. I would not be surpised if the new Rockford amps took some design cues from these guys. Planet Audio and Orion also makes some nice class D amps as well. Planet Audio will give you a 5 year warranty, so the place in the sky is not an option again for 5 years.

Personally I like Memphis amps. Check out the memphis 1000d amp. I use 4 of them with no problems.

I love my crossfire, it woeks great, stays cool, and sounds awsome im very happy with it!!!!
I just had a customer with a Crossfire CFA1000D come into the store for a new Eclipse CD8443. This should give that amp a good workout. I had not seen this customer in 5 years at least.
