I have a Lightning Audio FF150.2 with the 10 inch sub installed in a  94 Dodge Spirit.  My hu is a JVC KS-FX12 which have no rca output jacks so I am using the speaker level inputs to the amp. I am using the right side rear speaker as input to the amp tying the "+" from the speaker to the Left and Right "+"  and the speaker "-" to the Left and Right "-" of the amp.  Then I have it bridged mono to the 10 inch sub.  Am I shortchanging the input to the sub by using one channel of the hu or should I use both left and right outputs from the hu to the amp?

You will only get the bass contained in the right channel, so yes, you may be shortchanging yourself.  Give the amp a stereo signal so you get the full amount of musical information.  It's only speaker wire and a little work.

That amp is a powerhouse as well, it may be small and inexpensive but it is a performer, Dyohn is bang on as usual with his suggestions.

Thanks,  gentlemen.  I figured one of you would say give it the full stereo signal but I wanted to make sure. This was a christmas gift from my daughter and the first bridgeable amp I have owned.  Thanks again
