98 and 99 Accord HU same wiring? (REM)

Hey guys, I have a 99 ACCORD with a cassette head unit.  I'm hooking up an AMP and I need to know which wire is to hook up the REM.

On this site, It says that the 99 ACCORD +12v switch (is this the same as ignition?) is WHITE/ BLACK.  But there is NO WHITE/ black.  On the 98 ACCORD +12v switch it says it is a WHITE/ RED.  And I do have a WHITE/ red.
Heres a picture:

So my question is, could I run my REM line from the AMP and tap it into this WHITE/ RED wire?

Try testing it with a dmm by testing for power with the car off then seeing if you get around 13 or more volts only when you turn your car on.

Try testing the yellow with red stripe wire, if you have one.

Thanks for the reply, well there is no yellow wire with red stripe, but we used a voltmeter, and it was actually the white with red stripe.

but another problem came up, if i turn off the unit (push the button), theres a loud constant boom coming from the woofer, but our alternate solution was to not turn it off at all (just leave the volume all the way down.)

but when after i put the key to the 0 position, it goes boom, then off.  any idea why?

Make sure your amp is grounded. Also are your rca cables pinched or running next to power cables? Make sure they arn't. Make sure that none of the fuses on the amp or the in-line fuse is blown.
