I just bought 2 Audiobahn AW-1205 subs and a Directed 1100D from a friend who upgraded his system. Here's the Problem I don't have much experience with DVC subs, and I need some help wiring them. I would like to get as much power out of them as I possibly can. Can any body help me?
what ohms are the subs? dual 4 ohm? dual 2 ohm?

if you have dual 4 ohm subs, wire the subs in parallel. bring each sub to 2 ohms, then wire them together in parallel, to get down to one ohm, for total power from the amp. I'm not sure if your subs can handle that, i didnt go check what you have. if you have dual 2 ohm, wire them in series to get a 4 ohm load, then connect them in parallel to get a 2 ohm load.
This is the info i found on the amp: Rated Power @ 2 ohm: 800 x 1
Rated Power @ 1 ohm: 1100 x 1
thats alot of power :) is directed any good?

well, i got bored and found the subs you got too. lol. if i have the right subs, (i could only find AW1205Q), they can handle 1000 rms. they are dual 2 ohm, so ur gonna wanna do the second wiring job i told you. you will get 800 watts outta the amp for them. thats about 1200 lower than their RMS combined, but it should move them. I'd suggest takin them back, and gettin some different speakers. IMO.
