I have  2 JL TR600-CXi co-ax 6" speakers up front, pioneer deh 7500, 2 12" MTX 6000 subs, and an Alpine 350 amp. the rear speakers are still factory (6 x 9) and i would like to upgrade, there seem to be endless options and i'm not sure what would best suit my needs (i have a 98 accord coupe). two way? three way? etc etc. any help would be appreciated, thanks guys.

The number of ways do not make a speaker sound better, buy the speakers that fit your budget and appeal to your ears. This means go to a store and listen to them, don't order them online.

If you like how JL speakers sound try there TR690-TXi. Its from the same line as your front speakers. You could also just buy a set of component speakers instead of buy 6 X 9s for the rear. This would be a good sound quality setup(you would just disconnect your rear factory speakers).

get a set of 6.5 components for the rear, just use 6x9 adapter plates, they dont have to have the bass of the 6x9's you already have that dept. covered.  For quality and staging reasons, a 6.5 would be favorable, but you'll pay the price for them.

i was also wondering if you could recommend a relatively inexpensive 4-channel amp to power my fronts and rears.

Kenwood KAC-849

and for the rear deck, you can't go wrong with a set of Kenwood Dual Mags.

The sound they produce is just amazing!
