Made the mistake of aquiring 2 Fosgate RDR3112's with DVC @ 2ohms each.

My Sub amps consist of 2 Fosgate 1000bd's. The amps are sync'd together (basically bridged) and fosgate states that min imp. for the setup should be 4ohms. Basically, I'm toying with the idea of tossing 2 ohms at the setup and just riding it out, I've read MANY posts from people stating that these amps can run at 1ohm each (thus the 2ohms bridged) all day long, but I would also guess that fosgate doesnt say 2ohm min per amp for the hell of it. Anyone got any experience with this or at least a explaniation of what to expect down the road. I figured, since I have the room, maybe tossing in a 3rd 3112 to bring the imp to 3ohms might "help" the situation, with the addition 1ohm load be any better for it, basically is it any less destructive to go with 3ohms vs 2ohms when the amp is really only rated to stable at 4ohms?

Thanks

I have done that exact setup and it will work, no problems. Just pay attention to the amps over long periods of play, make sure you arent gonna light your trunk up :)
