i have two tens in a box that was originally made for one ten that required a large box , it was behind the seat of a truch , since it looked good i cut another 9 inch hole in it and ran two 10's made for small sealed boxes

my problem is that its not as loud as i want it

You need to start over.  Unless you get really, really lucky, the chances of having good sound with what you did are miniscule.  Design and build (or have built) an enclosure that is proper for your subs if you want them to sound right and last a long time.  Sorry, there is no other answer.

either that, or give them a crap load more power. but, i'd go with the new box idea.

The box is an ENORMOUS part of how your system will sound. I would def rebuild it.

dream it, build it, fiberglass it

You could try stuffing it with pink fiberglass(insulation, found at home depot) or polyfil(pillow stuffing or dacron, found at craft store or even walmart).
