faceplate repair, no lights?

i have an older alpine head unit..it should light up green lcd display,all of a sudden it doesnt...would this just be a bulb inside?? easy fix?

does the head unit still play? or is the entire unit dead?  my faceplace went out on my HU and all it took to fix it was to take off the faceplace, and get a pen or paper clip and press the reset button behind the faceplace, and it worked fine.
