Hi,

I have a Kenwood X-659 with removable faceplate and the display and 3 out of the 4 buttons no longer work. Everything else, sound, etc, works fine. Connectors on the faceplate look fine. Any ideas?? Help!!!

Try cleaning the gold contacts with one of those BLUE/PINK erasers ( use the blue abrasive side ) . Try this and it might work.

Also, if the receiver has a reset button, you might try that, I have had that fix some quarky problems in the past with Kenwood decks.
