Hey my friend is interested in getting a jl w7. The question is how can you wire a single w7 ohm wise? i know its a 3ohm sub. Can you get this to a 2ohm load?

thx

If you need two ohms, tell your buddy to buy the MTX 9500. Sounds better and hits higher spl in the same conditions.

Your best option is to get a good amp like JL's 500/1 or 1000/1. Or you can buy a good crossfire amp or something like that. then wire it for 1.5 ohms. You can only wire this sub for 1.5 ohms or 6 ohms like turbod16y8 said.
