Okay... here's a semi audio related question: can an object that is not suspended in air and solid in structure like, for example, a ball bearing, have a resonant frequency? In other words... let's say I had two spheres: one is hollow and one is solid. The hollow sphere would have a resonant frequency I know. Would the solid one?

The only way this relates to car audio is just by the term resonant frequency and I think we all have a basic knowledge of what that means. Sorry if this is out-of-character for here. I am brainstorming some private ideas and part of the theory deals with the resonant frequency of a solid sphere.

All objects have a resonance frequency.  It may or may not be in the range of human hearing, as we can hear (or see) in only a very limited range of the electromagnetic spectrum.
