Hi guys, I need to warranty one of my speakers...problem is, I can't find the receipt! :(

Any suggestions on what to do?  I bought the speakers around Aug'03, and it has a 1year warranty.  Can someone from a store write me a receipt?  }:)

I realize that some of you might think that is unethical, but I need to warranty a speaker and nothing more.

Any suggestions/help would be appreciated.

PS:  it's for a polk audio speaker

where did you buy it from. A lot of stores keep records of purchases and probally have your purchase on record.

That's the problem...I purchased it from a smaller car audio store..I don't even think they're in business anymore!!!  Now I wish i bought it from one of those large chain stores that has everything computerized!  :(

How did you pay for it? If you paid with a credit card, most companies can send you a copy of that months statement through e-mail. On mine, the statement shows how much it was and lists the items purchased. Good luck!
