I have a 1995 Honda Accord EX Sedan, and I am trying to replace my factory AM/FM Cassette Stereo with a Pioneer DEH-1500 receiver. My Accord has a power antenna in the rear that works with the factory stereo; it goes up and down when the radio is on /off. However, my Pioneer head unit's wiring harness doesn't seem to have a wire lead to operate the power antenna. Where can I connect the power antenna lead from my car to my new head unit so that it will operate normally. I want it to be able to retract when I turn off my radio. Can I just connect it to the ACC / IGNITION + (Red), or some other power source?

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

dmwildberger

Put it on the 12volt turn on lead, if you have an amp you'll tap into that wire as well....its usually blue and has a plastic tag.
