Im thinking of runnin some hidden red neons under my dash,i want them to beat with my music, so i should plug the + and - into the crresponding wires to my sub, correct? I know this is a stereo site, but it couldn't hurt to try for advice.

no, no, no.  definatley dont do that.  what you need to do is wire them up to a music interface(i think thats the right name for it).  youll have to wire a power wire for them, either to the battery and a switch, or to an accessory wire.  then you plug that into the interface's 12v in spot.  then you wire the neons to the 12v out spots.  remember to ground them and use a fuse in the power wire.  if youd like more info, go here.  its a how-to for neons on another forum im in.  https://www.protegemp3.com/vbb230/showthread.php?t=44332&highlight=interface

Here is a neon musical interface that you will need to make all of your neon lights pulse to the music. It gives you good control over them also. StreetGlow neon interface    Here are some interior neons and here are exterior neons also.
