from what i recal you dont really "tune" sealed enclosures, correct me if im wrong, you would need to go to a ported or bandpass box to acurately tune the box. But when tuning you change the port length to shorten or lengthen the waves from the subs i do believe. once again plz everybody correct me if im wrong. (ive not gotten any cert. yet)

I believe that you are correct with that statement....you can tune a box that is ported...refer to the port length calculator

A sealed enclosure is not tuned in the same way a ported one can be. Once it is biult, it is fixed. The only think you can play with )besides crossovers) is the amount of poly fill you use inside the enclosure. If the bass is too flabby or sounds dull, try removing some of the poly fill. If it's too tight or doesn't play as low as it should, try adding some.

ahh, thanks alot DYohn. I had already done that. I was just trying to see if there was any other ways. However, I am going to be purchasing a box soon. It's premade. How do I tune that? Or, do u tune it when u build it? If so, i'll just make my own box.

You really can't "tune" a sealed enclosure after it is built. All you can do is adjust the amount of Poly Fill and the positioning in the vehicle for the best performance. Make sure you get a pre-manufactured enclosure that is made for your sub's chacteristics!
