My son tore a hole in the rubber part thats by the cone how can i repair it ? Thanks

I put silicone in hopes that it might work

A little clear silicone on the front and rear of the surround works great in most cases. I've seen subs run for years patched up like this. Let the silcone set up overnight in a warm dry area before you use the sub again.
