I have a pioneer premier deck I was wondering if I could hook a second amp up into the deck with male rca cables ends into the "front out" in the back of the deck? There is two female ends that is lable front outs . The other rca left and right is hooked up to a mono amp to power a sub and the 2 channel amp which I want to hook up is to power some 6 by 9's.
Another question is should I run another power wire off the battery for that amp? Or could I steal power from the other amp? The mono is a kenwood 240 watt and the 2 channel is a kenwood 250 w.
You should have no problems running the front RCA outs to an amp. That's what they're there for. To answer your second question, you should never steal power from your other amp. I've burned out quite a few amps trying to do that myself. You should definately run a new power wire to your battery and fuse it.

You should really just run some 4 gauge cable to your battery and then have a distrobution block in your truck. This way you probobly won't have to run bigger wire when you get bigger amps and the distrobution block provides a place to connect stuff like a small power invertor or a neon or two also.
Sorry about the quote this is my second post and I didn't know how to reply.
This site is awsome thanks to everyone.
The guy I was talking to at future shop didn't no much more about audio than me.
Another question. Do I have to run another wire from the deck's power antenna too the second amp or can I wire both amps together with the existing wire?
You can use the same wire running to your first amp for a remote turn on for the second.
