I have a pair of pioneer ts-g1045 4" 2way 80wmax. Do u guys know what resistor I need to block the low frequence sound waves? I wish I could turn the bass off to these speakers with my deck but I cannot.

I believe you would use a capacitor for that, but there are bass blockers on the market which are cheap.  You can get them with 6dB or 12dB/octave crossovers.  For 4" speakers you'd want about 220hz.

I was talking to a guy about this and he also said I want a capacitor but I lost the specs he gave me.

Would Infinity 4002i 4"  sound better and would be able to handle my head unit 45w-4 when its on powerful mode or will them speakers crap out when I turn it up?

Found some at future shop click on the link below

Four inch speakers are physically capable of delivering any bass at almost any volume. They are designed for midrange sound. All speakers have their own unique tonal quality. Listen to each pair and let your ears and budget decide. Ideally, configure your system to let the speakers play the fequencies they were designed for. Tweeters for the highs, 4 to 6 inch speakers for the midrange and woofers/subwoofers for the midbass and subbass. To protect your smaller speakers a crossover of some sort (passive or electronic) is required. Four inch speakers should use a non-polarized capacitor of around 150 to 200 microfarads.

The Infinity is definitely a better speaker but you might want to listen to both of them to decide what you like. just in case. Your head-units internal amp will rarely output 25 to 30 watts much less 45 so power should not be a problem. Those Infinity speakers could handle a small amp easily. Try some 300 hz bass blockers. If you live in the US you can get a much better deal on the Infinity speakers you were looking at by ordering from crutchfield.com. They also give you free vehicle specific wiring harneses and instructions on how to install your new equipment in your car. Infinity 4002i
