I was wondering if anyone knows what size speakers come factory in an 04 Subabru WRX STi. Also in a WRX with a radio delete...is theyre an antenna already on it and do i need to get some OEM brackets to mount aftermarket speakers in the doors?? thanks guys

open it up and take some measurements, then go from there...going to be a total custom job. might also have to make MDF spacers/mounting rings.

i put alpine type-r 6.5's in the front , and type x 6.5's in the rear of a 2003 sti . There is not much room to play with in the front, thats why i couldn't get the type-x in there. As for the deck, im almost certain it was just a straight forward deck install if i can remember clearly.

i did one the other day.
there is an antenna in it.
6.5 in the front doors
5.25 in the rear doors.
i did not use a spacer, and for the rears a spacer would put the speaker to far out for the door panel to go back on properly
