I have a Kenwood KDC-MP8017 took my car into the shop and when i got it back the display read code_ _ _ _ . I dont remember what i set my code to, is their any way to change it with out sending it to a kenwood center for $45. please help!

Hi bberman, after reading the manual ( ftp://upload.kenwoodusa.com/pub/manuals/kdcmp8017.pdf ) for your head unit, it looks like you'll probably have to send it out. Even though it may not lead to anything, I'd still try contacting Kenwood and explain your situation if you haven't already. Maybe they can offer a more affordable solution if not a fix. I doubt that you're the only one this has happened to.
