what would be the sloted port size for a box that requires a 4" X 12" rounded port.

How would I calculate this?

   Your port radius x radius x 3.14 x lenght
        2"x2"x3.14"x12" = 150.72cubic"
    Sloted port
        2" tall x6.28" wide x12" long =150.72cubic"

cuz they might be bigger but not as deep. different shape of the box means different shape of the port. as long as the volume is the same, it shouldnt really matter.

   I know this port will work in replacement of your round port. What I am not sure of is if you can decrease the length and add to the height or width. I assume you can as long as the displacement is the same (150.72 cubic")
