Hey All, I have a friend who owns a 2000 Taurus with electronic controls. He wants to put in an aftermarket deck, but short of relocating the deck, I'm having trouble coming up with a way to install it. Any help?

yeah the dash kit will come with the harness i think the 2000 uses the harness that runs to the trunk because the tuner is actually located in the trunk behind one of the panels on the driver side. the kit usually costs 60 bucks at most retail places.

There is not a kit for the electronic hvac controls, only for the ones with the manual knobs. you will either have to go really custom or settle for the cd changer.

Thanks T and Serial for confirming what I thought was true. Time to start searching for an open piece of dash to put a hole in :) I have a Sony 10 disc sitting here, but we're trying for a little better SQ, and it's RF modulated, so he wants to stick with a new HU.
