Is there an amplifier on the previa? Where is it located in the car? Thanks.

From my info it looks like its behind the dash, below the AC/HTR controls.

out of all the previas that i've done audio work for (about half dozen or so at least), i don't recall any of them having a factory amplifier.

They do have amps on some models and they are located under the dash in the center. From the amp you can use a standard Toyota harness, Metra part# 70-1761. You can also use the amp with part# 70-8112. And sometimes you get lucky and there is amp jumpers in the dash cavity. Look for blue harness' wrapped together stuffed in the cavity somewhere. If so, unplug them and use a standard Toyota harness.
