I just bought a used Keenwood 728S and when I replaced my old amp it work, for a few minutes.  Later in the day I found it not working.  Checked fuses and found them blown so I replaced them and have done so 8 times with no luck getting the amp to work.  I wired another amp in my car to double check my wires and all seems good.  Any suggestions?

your amp is fried....i had the same problem with i think the exact same amp a while back. you can consider getting it repaired at a electronics repair shop, but it's almost not worth it. a new amp is really not all that expensive. even after repair, it's highly likely that the same problem will occur again....that's what happened to me.

good luck

what kind of subs do you have hooked up to it?  is it possible you are running the amp lower than 4 ohms?

I'm only pushing 1 Kenwood 12" KFC-W3005 @ 4 ohms.

Thanks for replying,  I had the Amp checked and the power supply is bad.  Does anybody have any idea roughly how much the repair cost should be to fix it so I know if I'm getting ripped off?
