i have a kicker 12" L5... I was just wondering how much watts i could run.. What the best amp would be to use..  I was thinking of a kicker 700 watt mono amplifier.. Would that be good..  Whats a good amp with the right wattage for my subs that is not too expensive but would make the sub slam hard..  Thanks alot

there are a lot of amps that would work. I would look for an amp that puts out no more then 700 watts RMS. One that I like is the JBL BP600.1. I also know the rockford fosgate makes a few that would work.

The 12" L5 can handle 600 rms.  If you match it with kicker's KX600.1, you should be happy since it puts out 600 rms.

i would also go for a jbl 600.1 amp, it will go nicely with your L5 12"

Hey thanks to all you guys.. I really appreciate the help... Now i have one more question.. Im kind of leaning more towards the JBL BP600.1 cause i looked up the specs and really like it and its a little cheaper too... But out of tyhe two what do you think would make the combo work better...
