92 camry antenna wont come out

installed sony explode headunit.....connected hu's blue antena wire to camry's BLACK/ red wire....everything works but antenna doesnt come out....

tried connecting battery to antenna wire and connected negavite to it ..thinking it would get input from one of those but still dont work.   plugged in original headunit and antenna came out....

Hi ecstasyroll, what other color wires do you have left in the vehicle's harness that are not connected to the aftermarket head unit? Measure each of these with the factory head unit plugged in. One may need ground or another may also need 12V+. Your meter will help you find the solution.
