i have this cd player that i bought used. when i hooked it up, it does not display but the buttons work and it plays cds. what could be the problem?

This radio has a blackout feature which allows the screen not to be seen.  This may be the problem or you might have to return the radio and ask for you money back.

the display will work fine when pressing buttons (when its in black out mode)   But if it does not turn on at all, , then you just bought a deck with a burnt out screen.

the button functions work on the face plate, but it does not light up at all. could it be fix??
