I've started my custom stealth box for a ed10Kx, and now I'm working on enclosing the box with fiberglass. However, I cant decide if I should remove the dynamat or just fiberglass over it (see pics). I don't even know if the epoxy resin will bond, I might have to test a sample. Also I can see by removing the dynomat and fiber glassing directly to the body would make the box more rigid, but at the sometime might create more rattles. On the other hand, if there was dynamat isolating the box, then maybe the vibrations of the box will be absorbed rather than the car panels. Please, anyone with experience help me decide.

Well that resin is going to have to be "soaked" up by some type of material. You can use fiberglass cloth, or an old Circuit City shirt works great!posted_image
