Hey, I need to know whats wrong with my system. I have 2 12" S2.12.8 Lightning Audio subs, 2 12" S3.12.8 Lightning Audio subs, a S2.500.2 Lightning Audio amp and a S3.600.2 Lightning Audio amp. I have the S3 series amp with the S3 subs and the S2 amp with the S2 subs. I have individual 4 gauge wires from the battery to each amp but the S3 amp has a cap on it. My problem is that when I have both amps going powering all the subs I turn it up to a certain point and my subs start moving rapidly as if maxing out but theres hardly any bass. Now if I turn either of the amps off the one amp and subs will work fine and its that way no matter which amp I have going. I need to know whats goin on cuz I spent some serious money on this system... atleast its serious to me :) Thanks

Actually I think the S2 and S3 might not be right but that shouldnt matter what kind of amp it is

Is it possible you are getting cancelation in the system or are the two amps out of phase with each other ie; the + and - speaker leads on one amp are backward compared to the other. How are the subs put in, example are the subs facing each other, or are they in a wall, or a horseshoe or what?

Both amps are bridged at 4 ohm and as far as the subs go there are 2 on the sides facing eachother and 2 more facing the back of the trunk. it seems like theres plenty of room for them

If what you are saying is the system works fine until you turn up the volume, and then the subs go into oscilation, yu have a level mis-match happening. Your gain is set too high. Also, are both sub amps being driven by the same signal from your HU? how is it split out to the two amps?

Actually my gain is fine... I just went to the local car audio shop that sells me all my stuff and they were just out of phase... all i had to do was switch the pos and neg on 2 of the subs
