If wanted to wire up some L.E.D.'s how could I figure out the resistor I needed?
If I had several L.e.d.'s would I want to wire up so many in series with a resistor than string them together in parallel?
The resistor blocks both more current and voltage than the L.e.d. can handle, correct?
How would you determine the slope that someone would want to use on a crossover for particular frequencies? Say if you had a tweeter, mid and woofer or subwoofer?
Wouldn't you want the slope to drop off quickly for your speakers (especially tweeters) at say 18 or 24 db per octave?
Why would someone use less of a slope or how can you determine the slope you want?
What are the frequency ranges you would probably want to use for tweeters, mids, woofers and sub woofers?
Thanks for the links but I already read basic car audio electronics. I read a few pages here and there. I have a quick link to the site on my welcome screen. Well Ok I suppose if I read again and again I will understand the crossover more throughly but what bout resistors and diodes. I know what an l.e.d. looks like with the anode and cathode and how to hook them up polarity wise but not with a resistor. Especially if I use several l.e.d.'s. I know the l.e.d. can handle only so much voltage and amperage which varies for each one.
