(I'm sure i'll figure it out once i get in the vehicle). BUT, whereabouts do you get the wait to start or the glow plug wire. Can you not just go off of a glow plug wire itself?

I'm researching before I install.

And it says on the directwire that the wait to start wire is a negative polarity. So if my starter that I have (autostart) only has a 'pos glow plug in' would I then use a relay to make it into a positive polarity? I havn't done many diesels. posted_image

Any information that would make this a breeze would be much appreciated.

Correct about the assumption of the relay to invert the polarity, this will need to be done. If you are an autostart dealer then you should be able to get the tech page for this from autostart, if not post your e-mail address and the serial# of the unit you are installing. You generally would go to the wait to start light itself to get this signal.
