When I connect thispower wire, will I be better off to connect directly to the battery, or would I connect to what appears to be some sort of factory distribution terminal attached to the firewall almost directly behind the battery.  There only seems to be about 12 - 18 inchec of wire separating the battery from this location.  The system will be extremely modest and will just be a couple hundred watts of power for a 10" sub.  The power wire is 4 Ga.

Thanks in advance.

Paul

Always connect directly to the positive battery terminal.

If I can add one more thing......Don't forget the inline fuse. But I guess that goes without saying.

Always from the battery with a fuse or circuit breaker.
