Im plannin to install a 4 channel amp in an '87 LeBaron Conv. My problem isn't how to hook it up, its how to route the wires. There doesn't seem to be any place convenient to run power through the firewall. I'm also wonderin if there are any special tricks with a convertible as far as no wires catching when top is up/down. Space is cramped and the back seat doesn't tumble forward. If there is anyone who has worked on one, or have tips on working with a convertible...Please help! ------------- Bravadas are cool

well, I didnt work on a lebaron, i worked on a pontiac sunbird. There was no place to drill, and .. well.. we didnt have a drill, but we wired the whole system up in 30 minutes with nothing but a pair of plyers and a screwdriver. lol. anyways, on the sunbird there was a hole that went into the wheel well, and luckily another hole that went right into the door part, it was a sloppy set up, but it worked. we ran the wire along the carpet (under of course), and then to the back, it was tricky getting it under the covertible mechanisms, but not that hard. I dont recall what a lebarn looks like in the back, but we ran the wire under the back seat, and under all the convertible mechanisms, and just popped in the amp. It might be a little different on your car, but with some patience, and a few trial and errors, you should be able to figure it out. Good luck. keep me updated. I wanna know if i helped at all! lol
