Hey guys ... I currently have the following setup in a 2004 Honda Civic LX:

AVX-7300

DVH-P7000

Pioneer 6 disk cd changer

AVIC-9DVD

GEX-P7000TV

1 ORION Xtreme 5002 amplifier

2 MTX 12" 6000 series subs

I am looking to add a capacitor to this setup because my dash lights dim, as well as my headlights.  I have never really looked into caps and was wanting some recommendations, like what capacitance (1.2F ... 2.4F ...) and what brand would be good?  Also, would it be worth it to upgrade to an Optima battery or something like that?  Is that even necessary?  Thanks in advance for the info!

All I know is that the brand does not matter because they all work about the same efficiency, I have a Stinger with Digital Cap and neon light and it works great, ebay has some great deals also on good brand new or used caps for great prices, you should take a look, saved me 50 dollers!

Adding onto his question, Does a digital cap do anything besides display voltage??? seems like alot of extra money to throw at a voltage meter?

if you decide to get a cap, a general rule of thumb is 0.1farad per every 100 amps. but with dimming head lights you may want to look into a good h/o alternator, and if the battery is getting on the older and worn side you may want to upgrade to the stinger version of optima (interstate bought out optima)
