I have a question can i run two channels into one sub to get more watts going into the sub cuz i have amp with the options below and i want to get two amps for each of my 800 watt subs and i was wondering if this amp would be suitable to push one of my subs to make it have a lot of bass and good sound The 2004 A235HCT high current amplifier comes with a heat sink 35W RMS x 2 @ 4 ohms stereo | 70W RMS x 2 @ 2 ohms stereo | 100W RMS x 2 @ 1 ohm stereo | 70W RMS x 1 @ 4 ohms mono | 140W RMS x 1 @ 2 ohms mono | 280W RMS x 1 @ 1 ohm mono | High current circuitry | Multi staranded power supply toroids | Double sided glass epoxy circuit board | THD: 0.05% | S/N ratio: > 100dB | Frequency response: 10Hz-40kHz | Remote bass control with blue backlight knobs | Variable 24dB high-pass crossover: 50Hz to 750Hz | Variable 24dB low-pass crossover: 50Hz to 120Hz | Variable bass boost: 0-18dB | Variable bass boost frequency: 40Hz-100Hz | Throughput RCA connections | Variable subsonic Filter: 20Hz to 45Hz | 4-way protection circuitry: Thermal, short circuit, overload and DC offset | Dual cooling fans | VU meters indicating output response |

If you are talking about bridging the two channels in this amp to drive one sub, sure you can do that. This Audiobahn will probably put out a realistic 200 watts into 1 ohm. But if you are talking about using TWO of these amps to drive one sub, then no, you can't do that with these.

do u think that will be enough to make my subs hit hard or should i keep looking for another two amps because i found another amp on ebay but its not from an authorized audiobahn dealer and it doesnt come with the warranty likethe amp above but it has these options it might seem like a dumb question but im looking for good looks and good quality thanks Model: A8002T Class A/B MOSFET Circuitry 2 - Channel 2 Ohms Stable Stereo 2 x 200 Watts RMS @ 4 Ohms Stereo 2 x 400 Watts RMS @ 2 Ohms Stereo 800 x 1 Watts RMS @ 4 Ohms Mono (Bridged) Air Intake Cooling Fan 18 dB Bass Boost S/N Ratio: > 100 dB Variable Subsonic Filter: 20 Hz - 50 Hz Variable High Pass Crossover (18 dB): 50 Hz - 750 Hz Variable Low Pass Crossover (18 dB): 50 Hz - 120 Hz Frequency Response: 10 Hz - 40 KHz (+/- 1 dB) THD: 0.02% ------------- []D[][]V[][]D

Again, if you are planning to run two seperate amps to one sub, DO NOT DO IT. If you are talking about running two CHANNELS from one amp (i.e.: operating a stereo amp in BRIDGED mode) than that is OK. So which is it?

If you are going to buy on-line (like e-bay), make sure that you get some kind of warrenty (whether it be from the manufacturer or the dealer). You never KNOW for sure that the product you are getting will work right or not, so don't take the chance and get a warrenty.

I don't know why you are insisting on Audiobahn, but if you're locked in to this brand for some reason, the A8000T mono sub amp would probably be a better choice in the same price range than either of the two you have listed. What subs are you trying to power?

if you reduce the port length of a port and add it to its diameter would that make a diff!? say using a 4" port that requires a length of say 10" for ex. cant you use a 6" port with a length of maybe 6"?
