What amp i can use for the 18" MA audio kore .. i belive it runs upto 5000 RMS at 1.5 ohm / quad ... what amp can get me the best out of it ?

Audiobahn makes a 5000 watt rms amp. But you do realize that 5000 watts rms = about 360-385 amps right? and to power that thing, ur well... gonna need a sh*tload of money. (excuse the language).

The sub has 4 voice coild so you can use 4 seperate amps or 2 amps. Get rockford kicker or ma audio. Ma makes some big amps too.

money is not that big issue thapimpfromchi :) .. i dunno what amps to choose .. brad123 can you specify model numbers plz .. wheather 2 amps or 4 amps .. i want the best out of the sub .. ( dun want any unbroken glass in the car ) .. and can you telll me how to wire the sub tot he amps ? thanks :)

well if you went the route of using multipul amps you would need those to be chosen professionally unless you just happen to have an osciloscope laying around. but you would need either 4 amps of about 1250wrms @ 1.5 ohm or 2 amps of about 2500wrms @ 3 or .75 ohms

if money is not that big an issue feel free to toss some my way.
