Does anyone know anything about kenwood amps? I'm thinking about a new amp for my pair of CM3 10D2 subs and can get a discount through a friend for kenwood products. Anyone know if they are good or bad? A certain one that might be good for my application.

Thanks,

Aron

I like a few of their models like they got this 800watt (KAC-7251 I believe) model thats pretty good. I've heard their over rated and some people I know go so far as to say their crap. My personal take is they're good, but not something I'd bring to a competition. If your just looking for some good bass, yeah, but if your looking for high quality bass or really loud bass, I'd pass it up and save for something better.

Thats about the most bang on description you can get. They dont suck but they arent a competion amp. Use them for personal use, not to show off. Although the Excelon amps are quite good and can be respectably used in competion. Which amps are you looking at?

I have tried the PS series kenwood amps on 2 JL 12w6 and they were pretty good.

I haven't really looked at any Kenwood amps. I was curious to people's experience with them before I even bothered looking at them.

Thanks,

Aron
