I plan on buying a Metra vehicle harness and a Metra deck harness just to make things super easy. The only problem is, my 99 F-150 has a second vehicle harness and I have no idea what it does or what to do with it.

Here is a picture just if you need it.

FYI: The harness on the left is the one that controlls power/ground/speakers etc.

do you have steering wheel controls? could be if there is an optional changer for the truck.

umm... there could be 2 plugs on the metra harnes.... mine was like that to...

I'll have to check out the steering wheel controls. I should go to pick up the Metra harness today or tomorrow so I guess I'll find out pretty soon.
